Second Story to the Sun
Located at Venice Beach, an uncovered roof deck is a necessity for both day and night. The addition of the 2nd story, balcony, and roof deck is designed with functionality and the view in mind.
Task
The goal of this project was the creation of an elevated living space at a location in Venice Beach. The emphasis is on incorporating functional and visually appealing features such as a 2nd-story addition, balcony, and an uncovered roof deck. The primary objectives were maximizing the use of outdoor space, providing both day and night usability, and taking advantage of the scenic views the location offers.
