Micro Spacious
Enhance the Small Unit is a Multifamily project in Tujunga that transforms a limited portion of an apartment parking lot into a functional and inviting detached ADU. The design responds to the constraints of a compact 800-square-foot footprint by carefully balancing layout, functionality, natural light, ventilation, and privacy.
Strategically positioned windows bring daylight deep into the interior while supporting natural ventilation throughout the unit. In the living room and kitchen, increased ceiling heights create a greater sense of volume, allowing the compact interior to feel more open and spacious.
Through thoughtful spatial planning and efficient use of the available site, the project demonstrates how a small residential unit can provide comfort, functionality, and a strong sense of openness within the constraints of a Multifamily property.
