Outsider Boxing
For the design of this boxing club, we focus on both functionality and aesthetics, ensuring that every element, from materials to lighting, contributes to the overall atmosphere of the club in West Hollywood. The interior will seamlessly blend raw materials, such as brick walls and concrete flooring, with bold colors, boxing culture, and references to LA, all while integrating gym equipment. By strategically using different materials, we define distinct zones within the space. The combination of cushioned wood, cork trim, rubber tiles, and wet room tiles is tailored to meet the diverse needs of training and practicality. Additionally, a grid of acoustic panels creates pixel-based boxing moments, adding both visual interest and sound control to the environment.
Task
The approach for the interior design and remodel of this project is to establish the flagship location for this boxing club. As part of the process, we authentically align the club’s brand and aesthetics with local insights, materiality, storytelling, and the practical needs of the location, as well as the opportunities presented by the West Hollywood neighborhood.
We’re a team of creatives who are excited about unique ideas and help our clients bring their visions to life through innovative design solutions and thoughtful architectural concepts.
